In Straßburg war der öffentliche Raum sein ,,Ackerland”, das er mit der Neugier der Passanten bestellte
und ihrem Refl ex auf die Lust an
derNachahmung. Seine Plakatständer wurden jeweils für einen Tag auf dem Place Kléber und dem Place de
l´Etal aufgestellt und Kunt filmte die freiwilligen Akteure aus der Ferne. Eine Nachahmung der ,,Dance Diagrams”
von Andy Warhol einerseits und die Spontaneität und Freude andereseits, mit der Passanten den
markierten Tanzschritten seiner Tafeln nachfolgen.
In Strasbourg his “farmland” was the public space, which he cultivated with the curiosity and the automatic urge for imitation of the passing crowd. His poster panels could be seen for one day each on the Place Kléber and the Place de l´Etal, where Kunt was filming the voluntary protagonists from afar. An emulation of Warhol’s “Dance Diagrams” on the one hand and the joy and spontaneity with which the passers-by followed the instructions for the dancing steps on his panels on the other are the significant points of the artists most recent field operation.
